My baby is only four days old but spent his first two days in the NICU. I was able to go there and try to breastfeed him (without much success) and I also started pumping right away at the hospital. In the NICU they gave him bottles and now he really only wants a bottle. He will latch for one or two sucks and quickly gets frustrated. I have been feeding him my pumped milk with a bottle after we try to feed at the breast first.
