Christian and TTC

If you're Christian and TTC, I have some encouragement for you. Yesterday I got really anxious and nervous and scared that maybe having children wasn't in the plan for my husband and me. But what I had forgotten was that God had made me a specific promise of a child. So I had to go to the Word, our weapon against the attacks of satan. So here are some scriptures I found that really set my mind, heart and spirit at ease and I hope it can help you too. Struggling with conception isn't new and you don't suffer alone. Take comfort in knowing you have at least one sister (me) who will join in prayer with you. Also, make sure your husband is praying for a child too. In the other cases I found, the husband was actively praying in addition to the woman.

"Issac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was unable to conceive children; and the Lord granted his prayer and Rebekah his wife conceived [twins]" - Genesis 25:21 (AMP)

"Hannah was greatly distressed and she prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. She made a vow saying, 'O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction (suffering) of Your maidservant and remember, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life; a razor will never touch his head'" - 1 Samuel 1:10-11 - she eventually gave birth to Samuel
