Pregnant and full of the cold... Any home remedies?

Does anyone have suggestions on what to take to help ease my cold symptoms so I can sleep? Only 5 weeks pregnant so don't have a midwife to phone yet.

Boiling water with honey and lemon juice helps the throat side of things, steam yourself in the bathroom to help in block your nose and realise congestion on your chest :)

I used a humidifier with eucalyptus essential oil in the bedroom with it closed off so it got really steamy and minty in there, and it really helped at night time! I would also use the oil under my nose and on my chest/back. Otherwise I drank lots of lemon tea with honey and found some natural honey cough drops at the health food store. I also hear eating marshmellows can help lubricate your throat if you have a dry cough.

Warm tea or water with honey and lemon forsure. Chicken noodle soup. Try a warm shower or bath to relax. Teyleno if you get a fever or bad body aches. Cough drops are safe and if you get a sore throat Chloraseptic spray is fine. And rest rest rest. & plenty of fluids and water :)
