Basically, I'm pregnant. I'm 17.

And before anyone decides to bash me, this baby; this little miracle growing inside of me is all that I've ever wanted. He/she was planned. And I'm so happy.

Yes, I'm only 17. BUT, I have a full time job, I live in my own house, I pay my own bills, and rely on nobody but myself. I am in a loving relationship, one that has progressed beautifully for 3 years.

So why, when I tell my boss at work that I'm pregnant, does he say... "Shit the bed, why wouldn't you get rid of it?".

Get rid of IT? IT is my child, one that I want, one that I will always want. One that in will care for a love and provide for until my very last breath.

So does anyone have any answers as to why my baby should die because of my age? A lot of people in this world don't deserve children, I know 10000% that I am worthy of this child, and my baby will be the most loved little thing in all of creation. I can't wait to be a mother, and I'm pretty damn sure I'll be a fantastic one!!

UPDATE: There was another incident! He tried to make me carry a huge sack of paper from one end of the offices to another, which is a good 10-15 minute walk, without a heavy load. So I blew my lid, went to HR. They told me that I had to go to my doctor if I wanted special treatment. I'm sorry. Is it not common knowledge that a pregnant woman should not be carrying heavy loads? So, I'm signed off work for 2 weeks until HR arrange a meeting with my manager and sort this out.
