My fiancé has been overweight, skinny and inbetween. No matter what his middle looked like, my love for him has never changed. All I ask is that he's healthy. If I notice he's putting on a few too many extra pounds, I do my part by making healthier dinners or giving him smaller portions. We love eachother for who we are, not what we look like. There is nothing wrong with having a peferance, just don't make your partner feel like shit when they don't match your ideal body type.

Obviously lots of people value physical attraction. But everyone is going to get old, saggy, wrinkles, lose hair, and need dentures someday.

I much rather pick a partner based off how well they compliment my life and add to the enjoyment of every day.
