It can cause you to not ovulate, like during pregnancy. You likely won't know when you start ovulating again, so if you having regular unprotected sex it is easy for you to get pregnant again without even knowing you were able to get pregnant.

After I had my son I heard a lot of rumors. Like if you get BC it will dry up your milk or if you breast feed you won't get pregnant. I told my Dr because I was breast feeding. Her exact words were that's all crap. I heard it from the horses mouth.
