Accidentally forgot to change tampon??

I got home last night really late and accidentally fell asleep with my tampon that I had already been wearing for a while during the day.. Will I be okay??
Update: I'm having a constant pain feeling in area.. Almost like a cramp but it feels more centralized in my uterus area.. When I usually get cramps it feels more all over my stomach

You should be okay, if you start to feel any pain/numbness in your vagina or legs go to the hospital.

I had one in me for over a week and I'm fine I did get really sick and think I was about to die but as soon as I got it out I was better

You're most likely fine. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, or fever are signs of staph so if you experience those then get to a doctor but otherwise I wouldn't worry. The only time leaving s tamping in is even mildly risky is when it's sitting in your for extended periods of time and its completely full of blood.
