Do antibiotics cancel out the pill?

I've heard that some antibiotics cancel out the pill and now I'm starting to freak out a little. I'm on an antibiotic called nitrofurantoin for UTI and I'm on the pill. Does anyone know if it can cancel out my birth control?

If the antibiotics cause diarrhea or vomiting, then the pill might not absorb into your system and be less effective
