Around what age can u start baby food ?

At what age did y'all start introducing baby food to your LO ? currently breastfeeding and was just curious to when I could start my baby on baby food 🙂

My baby girl is 12 weeks and I would feed her puréed fruit pots, baby rice, and little petit filous. Bottles weren't filling her at all.

They say 4-6 months but studies show that introduction of grains and cereals prior to 6 months increases the risk of type 1 diabetes and other autoimmune diseases. If you must start earlier only try vegetables/purees

Between 4-6 months is what they recommend. We already started cereals at 1 month per doctors orders and I plan on introducing baby food when my son gets 4 months in about 2 1/2 weeks.

I say whenever your comfortable with starting whether its 4, 5, or 6 months- your baby your choice. Just be sure to start with one type at a time and look out for allergy signs.

The age range is 4-6 months but I would talk to your doctor first. Honestly, I probably won't be giving solids until she's 6 months at least.
