My water broke?

I'm a ftm and I'm not really sure on what to do. So I was laying in bed and had the sudden urge to pee really bad. Well I didn't make it to the bathroom and liquid came out. It somewhat soaked my panties but I'm not sure if it was my water that broke or if it was just my pee. What would you ladies suggest I do???

Also...water breaking does not mean you will have contractions.  You might but not always. I never did with my first. I was not dilated, effaced, no contractions.  Had to be induced took from 3am to 7:58 pm for that baby to come.

Go into the hospital or call. If your water did break they will want to keep you bc you're at higher risk for infection. They can test the fluid.

When mine broke it was a small trickle then then with every contraction after wards more came out some mixed with a little blood. I had her 6 hours later.

I had a similar thing, I called my Dr and he said if my water broke more would come after the initial gush.   They said to wait 30 mins, if there's more water, enough to soak your pants again, then it probably did break.   Also, you would probably start having contractions in the next few hours.  
Mine did not break.

Put on a pad and see If more come out or just go to the triage lol everything is better when a professional tells you
