Did you cry on the way to the hospital?

I'm so scared of giving birth I feel like I might start crying on the way to the hospital but I feel like everyone will think I'm a big baby. I always imagine most moms are so excited on their way (or in a lot of pain) but I'm just wondering if it's normal to be crying?

Your body will just act on its own during active Labor. And if you want to cry go right ahead! Whether it's from pain, fear, or joy :) whatever you feel applies. Just make sure you stay as relaxed as you can, silly yes I know. But you've got this! It's what your body is meant to do and just keep thinking of what the outcome will be, your baby 😊 congrats!

I was more focusing on breathing, slightly bent over and a little shivering going on. Surprisingly I was very patient. The night before my husband left the windows down so the seat was wet. He had to get a towel. Run back in for his wallet. Then his phone. He was a nervous wreck. Kept saying how sorry he was about traffic, bumps and whatever else during the drive. I was quiet. Said it was ok. We only lived no more than 10mins from the hospital. Don't be scared. You'll know what to do. Weather it's breathing, screaming, crying... You'll get through it and have that baby 👶🏼

I was only 29 weeks and I didn't know I was in labor. I just knew I had some bleeding. I was more annoyed because we had to go to the hospital. Glad we did because I was 6 cm when we got there. Once I found that out I cried like a baby until he was born 4 hours later.

I was told I was going to have a big baby 8lbs+ and baby was under 7!

I cried because of the contractions, it was so painful. Once I had my epidural I was a happy camper and able to not cringe during contractions. I got to rest comfortably, and interact with family coming and going. I was terrified of giving birth, it was hard for sure, I think it would have been more painful obviously without the epidural but towards the end when she was moving down I felt a lot of pressure and that was a bit painful too. After everything I don't even think of the pain I went through.
