Breast cysts

Ok, so I've been ttc for 8 months after coming off the implant. AF is due today and I normally get pain a few days before but this month nothing! Everything else is the same apart from both of my breasts have developed quite a few cysts which I've never had before. The doctor said its due to hormone changes and did a pregnancy test on me 5 days ago which came back negative. Too early to test I think. Has anyone else had think before finding out they were pregnant? Or am I just getting my hopes up?
