My first miscarriage.....

Started spotting yesterday. I was probably only 4 wks 1 day? Had blood work done Wednesday, was told it was positive but my numbers were low. Repeat on Monday. This morning the bleeding is bright red, like a normal period and passing some very small clots. Doc said it should be over in a matter of hours but if I'm still bleeding tomorrow, go into the office for an ultrasound to see if I need a D&C.

I am so confused and feel lost. I have three grown children, never any problems. Now at the age of 40 I lose one. I wanted a baby for my husband (my second marriage he doesn't have any children) and today, on Father's Day he has to deal with this. I'm really at a loss right now......
