How long do you wait to go to the bathroom after sex?

I have always heard that you need to wait a while before using the restroom after sex so that the sperm can make it all the way through to your uterus. If you do it too soon you could flush some out when peeing.

That's an old wives tail. You actually don't need to wait at all!! Sperm gets there within seconds! I normally lay there and catch my breath with my husband and then I get up and go pee

Doesn't matter. If you're worried about UTIs you can take cranberry pills or drink real cran juice. Sperm can get to your cervix in seconds but I always lie there a bit just to be safe :)

I wait while TTC (even though I know it's stupid) but normally I run to the bathroom right away. I get UTIs wayyyyy too often if I don't. 👎🏻👎🏻

I let that stuff hang in there as long as i can!!! My man says "just stay there, I'll get you something to drink". Lol. I try to wait atleast 15-20

The sperm are where they need to be within seconds. No need to wait, but if it makes you feel like you're doing what you need to do, then wait😉 good luck and baby dust!

I used to stay at least 20 mins but last time I fell asleep and now i'm at the pharmacy waiting to fill my antibiotic prescription to treat my UTI 🙈 I'm in 2ww so if I need to try again next month, I'm jumping right up 😅
