How many time did you have false labor?

Question

Currently 41+4 and have had full on false labor twice now, the past two nights have had some horrible contractions 4 each night between 2 & 4a.m. Hoping this means sometime soon 😓 ready to be done!

I'm sorry! Why haven't they done anything? I know that lots of doctors will let you go to 41 weeks, but I've don't hear very often of them letting you get to almost 42.

I didn't feel any pain from contractions until it was the real thing.

I'm 41 weeks today. My doctor is letting me go to 42 if I want but I have an induction set for Tuesday he said if I change my mind to call but yeah, if mom baby and placenta are fine it isn't unusual to go to 42 weeks.

I'm using a midwife and doing a homebirth so we're waiting baby out. She's had lots of FTM's go past due date. My friend Paula went 43 weeks with her 4th, & my midwife had one mom go 4 weeks over her due date.    I don't wanna be induced but I will consider a membrane sweep depending on how much further over i go.
