Is this normal

First two days of AF or supposed AF are spotting, don't even need a pantyliner but decided to wear one, day three is a moderate flow (a flow but not heavy enough to soak a pad or tampon) with some small clots, then back to spotting the last two days. Barely anything on these two days. Day six and seven there was nothing, then day eight there was dark brown spotting but barely any. Is this normal?
