How much should I give her?

Hello I was wondering if you guys could help me with a little bit of advice I have a 3 month old baby and I'm not quite sure how many ounces should be giving her I am at the moment giving her 3 ounces water and one scoop of formula is my first baby so I'm not that experienced with kids that's why I'm asking it seems that she doesn't get full with 3 ounces she's always spitting up and throwing up as well as she's always constipated I don't really want to order feed her because she already throws up as it is so I bought her the Gerber Soothe colic drops and see if it helps butt I would like some advice

Read the instructions on the formula container. It seems like you might not be giving her enough scoops. Definitely ask you Doctor how many ounces a day she should be eating. I think the average is 24-32oz a day. Every baby is different so I would for sure talk to your doctor about this!

If she's eating 3oz it should be 1 1/2 scoop of formula. Make sure to read the can because Watered down formula can be very dangerous.(imbalancing electrolytes in which can cause seizures) This also could be why she is throwing it up bc its too thin. Also a rule of thumb for how much would be her weight x 2.5 (example a 10lb baby would eat 25oz a day, but that's just an estimate) They could eat a little more or a little less. Most babies her age eat between 24-30oz.

2 every1 that actually left suggestions or comments on my questions about how to feed my baby thank you so much but I finally took her to her doctor and I was notified that I was feeding her incorrectly I guess I wasn't putting too much I wasn't putting enough formula in her water and I was pretty much watering it down which is not good because she's not growing and not gaining any weight so now they told me specifically to fallow  ininstruction and feed her until she is ready when she's done she will let me know pretty much she will spit out the bottle right? So now she eats up to 5 to 6 oz🍼 and she has stopped crying she poops every day and she's a very happy smiley baby I'm so happy that I went to go see your doctor and I just feel horrible😢👎💔 that I didn't know that she was supposed to be eating until she was full the doctor said it was okay that I will learn and get experience from it so here she is at 4 months and a day old

Yep 1 scoop per ever 2 oz of water...my daughter will be 4 months on the 29th and is taking 5-6oz every 2-3 hours and due to reflux she also has to cereal in it. She loves to eat...lol

2oz of water for one scoop of formula. Like everyone said, too much water is probably causing her to be a little sick. Don't worry about over feeding. Make sure you feed her until she is satisfied. Most babies will stop eating once they had enough.

Rosie. The container of formula has instructions about how to mix the water and formula. My baby is on Nutramigen, 3 oz which equals 3 oz water and one and a half scoops formula.
