Period!!!! Menstrual Cup???????

Ok I've been thinking about using the menstural cup. Any experience or advice. Comment how you like them and why or why ou don't like them

I recommend with always staring with a Meluna stem (not ball, loop or basic. It'll make sense when you see the website) because so long as you don't damage the actual cup you can cut the stem to your preferred length. Now if you have a low cervix you will probably need a normal Meluna with no stem (you can just cut it off) or you can by a Meluna shorty. But remember, the shorty is firmer than the normal cup and a tap wider at the top. But give it a try if you think it's right. Wither thing to keep in mind too is firmness. If you have a regular fitness level, a classic is good for you. If you do a lot of sport or have strong pelvic floor muscles, you might want a sport. If you have weak pelvic floor muscles (the way I determine this is if you sometime pee yourself when you sneeze. I haven't even had kids and I do!😂),if you feel pain or pressure from using a tampon or if you have a low pain threshold, you might need a soft (the soft does live up to its name though and sometimes can be harder than the others to get out. It takes practice. I wouldn't recommend it for your first cup, but if you wanna give it a try go ahead. Just don't freak out if it's difficult to remove. Relax, and push your muscles down. It can help push the cup out. Now this was a big one for me: DON'T FREAK OUT IF IT DOESN'T FIT! You might just be putting it in wrong. Just relax and go with the flow. But if it is the wrong size, again, don't freak out! It's rare that you will get the perfect fit cup first time (another reason why I love the Meluna because it's cheaper than most cups so buying another one isn't an issue). My first cup I got from them was WAY to big! So I went down a size and firmness. Now it fits perfectly! It might take you a couple of times. Don't worry. I hope this helps for a start. Good luck!😊😄

I use one and I LOVE mine! I would totally recommend one!
Here's some things so keep in mind:
Brand and size. Every brand is different in it's own way. Longer, shorter, firmer, softer, wider, thinner, they're all different. You need to know what would be best for you, and for that you need to try and measure your sizing down there. The most important parts are this: how heavy your flow is and how high your cervix is (personally for your first cup I would recommend a Meluna cup. I use it and I think it's good because they have TONS of different options. Plus it has an accurate measure size chart so it makes this step A LOT easier). If you have a heavy flow, your probably going to need a bigger cup (again the size chart on Meluna is really good for this part). But cervix hight is more difficult to know. Many people don't know this, but you cervix actually moves up and down depending on which stage in your cycle you're in! The high it different for everyone. How's how you find it: you'll probably need gloves for this. Wait till the first day of your period, put on a glove, take your middle finger and insert it into your vagina. Icky, I know! But this step is important. If you can't feel your cervix (it feels like the tip do your nose almost. A firm little ball) or you can only just brush you finger against, you have a high cervix. If you can get it down to about your first nuckle from the tip of your finger, you have a medium cervix. And if you can fell that you cervix sits any lower than that, you have a low cervix. All done! Now depending on what high your cervix is, you'll need a different stem down the bottom (helps to pull the cup out).
