How to get newborn to keep pacifier in mouth?

How can I get my baby to keep her pacifier in her mouth? She sucks it and then spits it out 2mins later.

Our pediatrician told us to dip the pacifier in apple juice so she associates it with something good. It really helped our LO keep the paci in her mouth

Wubanubb! I swear by it. Get one that has a flat belly so it lays easier. My daughter loves her hippo. She can hold on to the stuffed animal part or if she spits it out its right there so she just open her mouth and pop it back in. It's our best friend in this house.

Agree with the Wubbanub! She grabs it herself and can easily keep it in her mouth or pull it back in if it falls out!

Either find one she likes better or if she's not fussing I wouldn't worry about it.  My son doesn't keep his in long but only sometimes wants it right back so I just let him go without it.

My son used to do that too until I tried the orthodontic pacifier. He's doing fine with it
