Tmi issues before labor?

So I'm 39 wks and was curious how soon before you go into labor do you get diarrhea or if you even do. I swear i have heard this is normal lol. If not maybe it's just somthing I ate. I almost was ready to go to the hospital because my stomach hurt bad then I just ended up using the restroom lol

It's definitely normal that you will have diarrhea before labor, but not an indication that it's coming. My Doula told me yesterday if you ever get to the point where you feel like you need to poop and you're kind of straining, stop and go to the hospital...that is if you're having other labor symptoms as well

It's normal. When your body is ready. It releases a hormone (forgot the name) that relaxes your ligaments and so on.. and so it does with your large intestines...so lots of bowel movements.

I've been constipated for two days and then woke up this morning and have already had 3 diarrhea bowel movements and my due date is tomorrow. But other than heartburn and lightening crotch I haven't really had any other symptoms.. No really strong BH or anything so idk but I honestly don't feel any closer to labor :/

I had my baby girl on June 13th and did not have diahrea. However, the night I started going into labor I had really bad stomach aches all afternoon long, accompanied by gas. The night of the 12th I also kept having to go to the bathroom. It was as if I had taken 10 doses of benefiber lol.

I tried taking a hot shower to ease my tummy aches but it did nothing ( which usually makes my tummy aches go away after a few minutes). The pains kept getting worse and that is how my husband knew this "was the real deal". I was in denial because we had already had 2 false alarms a few days before.

Its normal and normal to poop during labor everyone does it with the babys head down n all pressure it will mess with yr bowels

I never had diarrhea.. Only sign I had that my baby was coming was my water breaking
