Anyone experienced brown discharge in first trimester and was fine?

I had about a quarter amount of brown discharge this morning. I'm 8 weeks today. My first appt is in 2 days...I'm so concerned.

My doctor told me it was left over from implantation. I experienced it for 3-4 days just small amounts. Baby is fine :) and we'll be 10 weeks tomorrow!

I had brown spotting/discharge on and off for a couple of weeks . Just had an ultrasound 3 days ago at 9 weeks and baby is doing great! Heartbeat was at 178. The sonographer said she couldn't find a reason for my spotting.

I had that with my son. He ended up being premature but the brown blood had nothing to do with that.

I brown spotting/discharge with my second pregnancy and this one. Both pregnancies were/are fine. I was told its old blood.
