Daily calorie intake
A question for mommy's that count calorie and monitor daily nutrition intake....
So I have read a lot of different articles about how much you should eat when your pregnant and they have differed from you don't need to eat any more to eat 500 cals more a day. I am only 5'2" so not a very big person and normally I eat super healthy, low carb, lots of vege and protein, only about 1000 to 1200 cals a day. I know that sounds low, but with all the vege and protein I eat, that is a lot of food.
So my question is, now I have made sure to get all the vitamins I need each day and protein, fiber, calcium (more than normal) and iron, (twice as much as before). I am eating 6 times a day and it feel like a lot of food already. I never feel hungry, just a slight headache right before it is time to eat something. So I feel good, but the calorie intake is still pretty low each day, somewhere between 1200 and 1500 cals a day. Should I force myself to eat more?
