Cervix ? Plz help

I have a cervix ? I know your cervix is supposed to be high when TTC but years ago I got pregnant. And when me and my husband were being intimate my cervix disappeared inside me and it took a whole day to come back down. I hope somebody understands. Is it supposed to do that because if so I understand why I am not getting pregnant. Please help
