My child's father just got sent to prison this month. I am not leaving him and will do everything to support him until he comes home. When I had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING he took care of me. When I got pregnant and couldn't work due to severe morning sickness, he made sure I didn't want for anything and came to every single appointment with me. I think it depends on what type of relationship you had before he went to jail. Nobody knows where your relationship stood at or how deep your bond was with him.  
Another thing I would consider is if u went to jail right now, would you look to him for support?

There is an only option to stay if he was falsely accused and you know it for sure. Otherwise I don't know any reason to stay.

Depends on what he did. But if he is doing something to be sent to jail he probably doesn't have a bright future. My mom stayed with my dad while he was in and out of jail as a young adult and then in prison for 3yrs (all drug related) and they didn't accomplish much with their lives except raise 3 decent kids.
