I don't understand?

Question

I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Then I started my period 2 days later, can anyone explain why? Why did I get a false positive? I took one again on my period just for the heck of it and it's negative. This period is super super light too.

Your egg was fertilized, implanted, gave you a pos. HPT result - but than the egg stopped developing, you got your period. It's called a 'Chemical Pregnancy'. Unfortunately it's commn and a part of fertility. It's how nature works. I'm sorry.

It's chemical pregnancy. I'm sure, because usually falsy tests are false negative and if your egg would continue its development, even with bleeding you would have another positive test.
