Pain during sex?

I've never experienced pain like I did this time. My SO is rather on the large side, but he's been rough before and we've never had any issues. I think I was on top when it started happening? Did he hit my cervix too hard too many times? We were pretty rough... Could my cervix be low at the moment making it easier to hit? The pain was so intense we had to stop and I've never had to do that before.. Thanks ladies. Xx
