How effective is the pill a few hours late?

I've been taking the the pill perfectly for a month but I took the fourth and sixth pill of the second pack two hours late. I know the first week after the placebo pills is extra important and I did have unprotected sex that week. Am I still protected? Thanks ladies!

Just try to keep taking your next pills regularly! The time is always important but it's the repetition of the time you take the pill that is most effective because your body is expecting those hormones at that time every day. It's not the end of the world if you take a pill or two a little late, it's just the getting back on track that's important if you do miss a pill.
