How soon is too soon?

So today I'm 14wks and 4days. I have my next appointment with my OB in a few days where I'll be 15wks exactly. I've been noticing a lot of you women on here finding out genders as early as 13wks. People keep telling me that's too soon to know for sure. Is it really? Or is there anything I should ask my doctor if I can find out the gender this early on?

Most people are going by the ramzi or skull theory those are still 50/50 but those who actually have found out the gender have either gotten the genetic blood test or have a really good ultrasound tech the blood test is 100% since blood doesnt lie and it detects the presence of a y chromosome the ultrasound is more like 50-80 correct that early since the parts are still forming its best to wait for your anatomy scan which is usually around 17-20 weeks and its more accurate closer to 90-100 depending on how cooperative the baby is and how good the tech is

Many have gotten the blood test which is done between 10-14 weeks and is elective. My OB starts doing gender u/s at 14w. Ask your OB and see. Some make you wait till the anatomy scan at 20w.
