I'm getting "hate" because of my baby's name

People have been constantly asking me "what names do you have picked out" and politely I tell them we aren't telling anyone (except close family) until he arrives.. Mainly because stealing baby names has been very common here lately (at least for the town I'm in). They kinda give me a death stare or have something negitive to say about us wanting to wait, and it bothers me. I'm not really sure how to respond or handle the situation...
