Possible PCOS?

Hey so I have been getting check with doctors because it's been about a year of my husband and I starting to try. I have thyroid problems and insulin resistance and other symptoms that point to PCOS however no doctor has been able to tell I don't have it or tell me I do. All they can say is that I'm more borderline. So with that said they increased my metformin to twice a day. However since that started I have had this major period that doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Before increasing it I had a very light but long period just two weeks before. Now I'm having this one that's been about 10 days but extremely heavy. Having to switch my tampon every two hours at least. So I was just curious. Has any one else had this problem when increasing metformin? And has anyone else been just borderline for PCOS?
