New to IVF ! What happens ..?

Sorry about all of the IVF questions I've had.😅 so I have my first appointment next month at Shadey Grove referred by my OBGYN. Ivf is my only hope. I was wondering what happens after the first appointment at the fertility specialist? What do I do or what do they do after my first appointment? I've had HSG test, Pap smear & Ultrasound done on my uterus and ovaries all within last month and this month. So I don't think I have to do it all over again. Any thoughts?

So far here's the timeline for my first IVF treatment:  I went in for a doctor consult where we went over what my protocol will be.  Then I scheduled a nurse consult where we went over the meds I will be using and the timeline of the treatment.  They took blood work and semen analysis that day. We then talked to the IVF financial coordinator.  Then we scheduled for a hysteroscopy and a mock embryo transfer.  All of those appointments alone took 3 weeks because getting an appointment with Doctor took a bit of a wait. Right now I'm waiting for my period to start (should be today!) and I will call them to let them know.  On day 3 I will go in for a baseline appointment and entire payment is due that day.  I will be instructed to start birth control for 2 weeks, then stim meds for 2 weeks, then egg retreival is scheduled, then transfer, then pregnancy test!  In all, from start of birth control to pregnancy test I will be approximately 6 weeks.  Hope this helps!

I just had ivf done through shady grove, current 10 weeks pregnant. After my first appointment with the re a nurse came and gave me paperwork with everything I needed to do before we could start the process which included things you've mentioned and some more like the counsel genetic testing. We also met with the financial counselor after that who went over all of the different ivf options and ways to pay.
