I have a few friends that always talk about how horny they are, and they'll openly and willingly talk about sex, but not mastsurbation and they won't do it. There's definitely some sort of taboo around female masturbation and I'm not sure why. Everyone openly talks about/jokes about males masturbating but not females. It's like this secret thing hahaha it's actually kinda sad. So many young girls are being taught that masturbation is "gross" instead of healthy. It's a great stress relief, a good alternative from sex, helps you to get to know and understand your body and how to achieve an orgasm. I do it when I get really horny but I'm in a long distance relationship so I have to have something to tide me over till I see him. Before this relationship I refused to do it cause I was so self conscious and it felt weird.
