Do you feel connected to your baby?

Question

24 weeks pregnant and I haven't really felt a connection to my baby at all. I always thought I would especially when I started feeling him kick. The baby was planned and I am super excited, just kind of makes me sad I feel this way. Anyone else feel this way?

I feel like I haven't been as bonded because I'm afraid that something is going to go wrong. I had a previous loss so I think it has something to do with it. However, I do love my bump and feeling the kicks.

Same here. I feel more connected to my husband, but not yet baby. Especially since we aren't calling her a name yet.

After I started feeling movements I definitely felt more of a connection. Now I talk to Baby and read to him/her. It helps.

I felt like this at the beginning of my pregnancy but that's because he wasn't planned and the father has made my life hell since day one. Now I've felt a connection and I can't wait for my little one to be here.

Talk to your baby and rub your belly at the same time. Poke around at he will poke you back and you will begin to feel more of a connection
