Umbilical Cord stump?

Does this look okay? It isn't red and doesn't seem to be bothering him, but it smells SO bad. I can smell it through a onesie and a blanket, and there's a little yellow pus now and then. Does it look fine though?

Id talk to a dr. I've never had a stump smell on any of the kids I've cared for and I have a huge family.

Smell bad and pus is a serious infection, you need to get that baby to a doctor asap!!!!

Are you cleaning it with a alcohol pad? Also have you been keeping it dry?

With my first it fell right off and never stunk but my second son had the same thing. I just kept it dry and eventually it fell off and the smell was gone. I would just keep an eye on it :)
