Has anybody looked into this? Amazon reviews are great, just looks like it's tricky to not cross contaminate. I'm considering doing it right at 9 weeks.

So I have scheduled the Harmony blood test. It checks for genetic disorders as well as the sex of the baby. And it's done by a professional in your doctors office! They can do it at 10 weeks and it is covered by some insurance(not mine) it's $150 if you pay out of pocket. Excited and nervous. August 3rd is our test date.

I'm having mine done this week. And I'll be just 10 weeks. Results take 7-14 business days. Guess it's something new with the gender. Cause I have a daughter who is 5. I don't recall them asking to find out the sex it was just normal blood work for down syndrome and everything else. So I guess we'll see how things work.

For y'all that are asking, it's an at home blood test that you do at home, but it looks like it can't come into contact with anything male to be accurate so you really have to follow protocol. You do it with a few finger pricks, and then they test the blood for male DNA. If only female, it's a girl. If there is male DNA present, it's a boy (that didn't come from mom).
