Who feels left out ? 🙋🏼

I'm enjoying pregnancy and very excited to meet my princess.

But I feel left out sometimes 😞 Especially by friends . I don't get invited to certain events, girls day out, brunches. I'm sure that I'm left out of some conversations now. I see pix of outings online and other ppl asking me if I'm coming to this or that event but I often say: "what event? I wasn't invited?" When I ask my friends they just say that "oh you're pregnant, we assumed that you wouldn't be interested or couldn't make it." 😑

I know I have my limitations and all but there are things us pregnant ladies can still do socially.

Yes ma'am pregnancy is a life-changing event you'll see little quotes and memes everywhere that always say do you want to know who your true friends are get pregnant it's been hard for me too but it's been very eye-opening and Awakening and I've embraced it like a lot of my friends don't speak to me anymore and that is 100% okay I don't need you I never needed you the one that does is the only friend that I need I'm not worried about losing the other ones were there we were friends for 10 years or not a lot of it is jealousy a lot of your friends that don't have kids you guys aren't going to relate anymore anyways so it's not going to matter this is the part in life where you should be thankful that they're out of your life if they were never really your friend anyways

I'm complaining opposite lol I'm so exhausted all the time I get irritated when my friends or family include me in things without asking or expecting me just to go. But I also can see exactly where you're coming from.

Sounds like maybe you are at a different point in your life than your friends! Sucks but sometimes that happens. I'm still included in everything and sometimes I just want to be at home with just my husband in my pjs!!

At first I tried really hard to stay connected, after a while I just didn't care... back story is that I used to work all day and my friends were people that I met at a late night AA meeting and we'd hang out till 1-4 am and do it every night... my now husband got outta jail and he hated being out so late so I curbed my meetings to like twice a week. Then we found out I was pregnant and we moved in to our home... friends and late night meetings  became nonexistent.. i can't keep up. We have a handful of close friends that text, call and stop by but also understand that I am pregnant. That my husband can't do certain types of things now and they understand... im excited for mommy and me classes and maternity leave so I can go to daytime meetings again. It's all in how you view things.
