How do you all feel about your mother in-law buying her own baby equipment for her house? I'm a first time mom and I live out of state from my family. My husbands family is also from the same hometown as my families. Last summer my mother in-law moved to our new state, just 20 minutes away from our house. Now that we're expecting our first baby and now 6 months along, we are buying the stroller, car seat and cribs ect. We just bought our stroller travel system with car seat this weekend and today my mother in-law calls me to tell me she bought a car seat and two bases for her car. . . I'm a first time mom and I'm fortunate that my husband can provide for our little family so I will be a stay home mom for the first year and plan on breastfeeding. I just don't see the point for my mother in-law to buy her own baby gear for her house when baby will need to feed every few hours and I live 20 minutes away and will be home specifically to care for my baby. Should this not bother me? I can't help but to be annoyed. . .
