Boyfriend asking me to wax?

So my boyfriend told me before I should look into waxing since I'm always complaining about shaving... Does everyone do it professionally or are you able to do it yourself? Cause I'd rather not have other people all down and around there with wax...

I do it myself, Sally Hansen works really well. If you follow the directions you shouldn't hurt yourself, I've never had an issue. I was nervous about using the microwave wax at first but it works a lot better than strips with wax already on them

Get it done professionally if you're thinking of doing it.  You could burn yourself with the wax or cause rashes from not doing it right. It's also hard to wax certain crevices if you don't know what you're doing.

I know women rave about waxes but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Apparently my bulbs are thick so it was going to take me forever for my hair to thin out enough to have a "porn star" smooth wax, and I didn't have the patience for that. Also, I was disillusioned because I thought it would decrease in grown hairs and it didn't. I still had the same amount of itching and in frowns that I have with shaving (nothing a good after shave gel can't fix). Another thing I couldn't stand was how long I had to wait in between waxes since the hair has to be a certain length in order for it to wax. I'd rather shave and know I'm going to be silky smooth every two days (which is how long I take in between shaves).
