Has anyone actually spoke to their doctor about seafood? I mean actually talked to doctor not internet papers, their own doctors opinions!

My doctor strongly encouraged me to eat 1-2 servings of fish a week for the DHA and other vitamins. She just said stay away from the big Mercury fish and remember that a serving is the size of you palm.

My Dr. recommended fish, seafood and shellfish in particular. I guess mussels and clams have loads of nutrients!

I did with my first pregnancy and she said as long as it was cooked and you only ate it no more than twice a week it was not a big deal.

Dr said no: monkfish, tilefish, swordfish, shark, or king mackerel. Dr recommended salmon (high dha, healthy)
