Postpartum bleeding menstrual cups?

Is it safe to use a soft cup/diva cup after having your baby? Of course not right away but after the first initial heavy bleed weeks.

My doc said definitely not, even though I promised to boil it daily. Pads it is.

I would hold off until your 6 week visit. Which suuuucks- hate using napkins- my skin is so sensitive I break out.
