So my SO and I are stationed in Nebraska and our family lives out in Ohio (11 hours away). I'll be going back to college the third week of August so I was wondering if it'd be too early to have the gender reveal/ and baby shower the second weekend of August. I don't to wait till thanksgiving break because it's a four day weekend (for schooling) and everyone will want to be with their families for the holiday, and I definitely don't want to wait till December because of snow, Christmas, and how close it is to my due date.. I would be having the reveal/shower at about 17weeks, and I just don't know what to do. I'll be finding the gender out anytime between the last week of July to the first week of August. My mother in law will be planning it and asking everyone for gender neutral stuff till she finds out the gender and then make a Facebook group, add everyone on it and tell them what I'm having so they can get me girl/boy stuff.. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
