6 yrs ago I couldn't get over the fact that he told his mom everything we would talk about. Everything!!!!

I heard from his mom he tried to commit suicide 3x when I let him go. Now 6 yrs later he is "dating" rebellious girls and is independent so his mom says. Well he still hasn't moved out and I tried to Facebook him so his mom and all his family blocked me. Like wth!! I am the bad one because I couldn't stand his mom being all over his business?? I mean that woman is evil and wants him to marry a girl that she likes not that he wants. I mean can't we all be mature and at least be nice and not act like a child blocking ppl?!! Ahh!!!!😩😱 

Was I wrong for letting him go at the time? I mean was I so bad that we can't be friends?! I mean his mom called my job and tried to get me fired and he didn't believe me. 

Please help!!
