Homemade Baby Food?

Question

I'm interested in making my own baby food for my daughter due the end of July. Where I live all the fresh fruit & veggies are in season from June to September. How early would you start and freeze baby food for it to last til around December when she can start eating it?

With my son I always made baby food out of sweet potatoes blended cooked chicken or fish no seasoning in and put them in a ice mold to freeze then you thaw and heat it up . That's a good start
