It got darker after a few mins. We aren't trying to have sex right when I'm ovulating. We are trying to do it before. I've done lots of research and with our last two boys we had sex on the day I was ovulating and I have read with a high success rate that doing it days before you ovulate raise your chances for a girl

You can start to BD anyhow, but when your test lines are the same color or the test line is darker than the control line, THAT'S a "positive result". A positive result just indicates your LH surge and within 12-48 hours, you should ovulate. But, these tests don't actually show that you ovulate or release an egg.

All of my apps say I'm in my fertile window and we are trying to use the Shettles Method to have a girl and it says you are supposed to have sex 2-3 days prior to ovulation and that the sperm can last in your body for days. We will be having sex again tonight and tomorrow. Do you think that will be good enough or too early?
