This may sound really strange but how do I break it gently to my 8 year old daughter that's she's having another sister? When I told her I was pregnant she was so excited about being a big sister, but for the last few weeks all she has been saying is she wants a younger brother and today we found out that we're having another girl and I just know she's going to be so upset 😞😞 xx. So now I'm really confused as to what to do as she's such a beautiful, kind and caring girl, (maybe that's the problem she cares too much) she's already been through too much for a girl of her age (wich I won't go into but it was absolutely devastating) and I'm worried telling her she's having another sister will upset her and may set her back with all the progress she's already made. So any advice would be appreciated as I just want her to feel included and not like she's being replaced by a new baby xx
