Being a step mother is so so hard sometimes and it really doesn't feel worth it at times.

It's hard to help raise kids that you only get a few times a week. It's even hard when their mother doesn't teach them anything. Not respect, not manners, not to be clean.

They come to us everytime dirty and raggy. They look like homeless kids. Not to mention they belch like men. And they KNOW what's expected of them when they are with us. You cover your mouth and say excuse me if you burp or fart. Sure kids will be kids, but that's why you teach them how to behave. Their mother doesn't do that and when we do get the kids their daddy is working hard, so who's left to watch them and teach them and discipline them? Me. The step mom. It's hard. And sure you might think I sound like a bitch, or that I'm whining.... whatever.

I'm just tired. Tired of trying so hard and getting no where.
