I am suffering with HG. I'm only 8wks2days and have already had two hospital stays. I'm miserable and I'm so exhausted from being sick all day everyday. I've already lost 7lbs in 3 weeks. This is definitely not how I expected my first pregnancy to go.

I'm 37 weeks HG horrible pregnancy. I'm part of a support group on Facebook. It really helped me. I chewed on ice cubes, Gatorade cubes, watermelon, and lemon my first 4 months. I take Zofran every 6hrs, 2 dicleges before bed. This last week I've been eating non stop. So I think I'm getting better. I've gained a total of 8 lbs. hope you feel better

I'm currently on diclectin at 38 weeks. I've been on it since 7 weeks. 2 weeks after starting that I also had to start taking zolfran dissolveable wafers.  I finally at 33 weeks able to cut the zolfran out. Still on diclectin but taking less then they have prescribed. If I miss out on anything my head is in the toilet every 20 minutes on day 3.... the meds were all we could do, nothing else helped.

Between week 6 and 9 I lost almost 20lbs and had IVs in the ER twice... even since being on the meds I've gained slightly less then I lost, still have nausea  and aversion to food... all food... but force myself to eat. But only 9 days left for me!

36+4 on a home made version of diclegis. Half a unisom and a B vitamin smoothie. ( insurance won't cover it b c it is all over the counter)

Helps a lot to follow the general guidelines of what to eat while experiencing HG. No grease, no milk, no chocolate, no spicy food or garlic and eat  plenty (ha) of lean protein, fruits, and more water than you think would be necessary.

I tend to only eat sugars with an accompanying protein to keep blood sugar spikes in check which helps a lot.

I use ACT restore mouthwash after I get sick most times to keep my teeth from corroding too badly (after last pregnancy i had 34 hours of dental work done, yuck). Carry a toothbrush and mouthwash in my purse at all times.

It's super annoying to follow all these crummy guidelines, but it keeps me out of the hospital. Yay!
