What to pack for baby bag?

I know what to pack for my bag, but ( im a ftm) so what all do pack for the baby for the hospital. This app says a coming home outfit, blankets and car seat... Like i know you need more than that but what all should you pack? How many diapers, how many clothes, socks? Mittens? Like what?

My hospital supplies everything while we are there so im literally just bringing a going home outfit, a blanket, and the carseat.

Same here (if you're in the US... Saw another commenter say UK doesn't supply as much and don't know about other countries.) I only packed a coming home outfit, hat & socks (more just for cuteness in pictures than anything else), one onesie each in size NB and 0-3 (probably not even necessary), swaddle blanket (again just bc I love the design and color of it for hospital pics more than from necessity) and car seat.

Depends on your hospital. For baby my hospital provides Johnson Johnson traveling case, brush, comb, diapers, and wipes. Of course they have the long sleeve onesie with hands in and a blanket but I'm packing my own cute outfits for visitors and pictures and going home outfit of course. For myself they provide  a specialty type of panties to wear, pads, nipples cream for bf, and non skid socks. I'm only packing toiletries and comfortable clothes, phone charger, etc. My hospital basically takes care of all the necessities.

I've heard hospitals supply everything but not when u need it nor enough. A gf of mine who recently delivered strongly suggested I back my own diapers, pads, wipes etc.

I only packed socks and mittens, coming home outfit and a hat that I bought. Also I packed 2 light blankets for the ride home. Plus car seat of course. We did a tour at my hospital and they supply everything else, diapers, outfits, linens. I think anything else is just your preference!
