Do you always tip when you go out to eat?

Tbh it depends if i got good service or not..because some people have bad attitudes and hate their jobs..but i always appreciate great service

I always tip because once when I was young a waitress really messed up my order multiple times. To the point the manager came out and apologized and gave my family a free meal. I remember my dad tipping the waitress. He said that she's probably a high school or university student that's just started working here and is having some trouble or maybe she's having a bad day. She wasn't rude or anything and you could tell she was very upset and flustered. My dad always told me to tip because those jobs often pay minimum wage and usually the staff is mostly students (at least where we live) and they're probably struggling financially. Every little bit counts. So I've always tipped- I won't give a big tip of the service isn't great but I still give them something.

I Always tip unless I have some bad service.. One time I went to dinner with my bf I was like 7 months pregnant and the lady never brought me a refill never offered me ranch for my chicken wings and had the nerve to call my bf baby and ask if he was single and could they hook up after her shift in front of me. No she got no tip.

I always leave something. If the waitress is terrible then I'll leave like $1. I've only done that 2 or 3 times.  One of them was not that long ago. My husbands food was stone cold. We told the waitress and she was like ok? And just looked at us. We said well can you bring it back so they can make it hot? She walked away with the food and never came back. She kept serving other tables but wouldn't even look at us. After 20 minutes we flagged down someone else and got a manager. We were pissed. He didn't even end up eating. Typically we leave 20%.

Yes I do, even if they're rude to me. They may not recieve a very good tip but I always leave something.

I always tip because at some places they have to divide tips evenly. Even if you have a terrible wait staff member you could be punishing someone who is working their ass off.
