Do the "simulated diamond" or white sapphire rings look cheaper or not real? In your opinion does it really matter if it is a diamond? My SO and I talked about getting engaged very soon and financially we have more important things we want to do than spend $1000+ on a ring. We plan on possibly upgrading in the future but for now wanted something under $500.
